Add and update employee records with ease; you can add employees manually or through a wizard and save employee  details as templates, which will make adding in new employees quicker as basic data will already be there. Apply changes to groups of employees to save time, link them by cost centre or department and add notes on employees.

Processing your payroll has never been easier; you can set hourly rates, annual gross pay, overtime and bonuses. Separate your employees into different categories for weekly pay, four weekly pay, monthly pay and quarterly pay. Payments and deductions can all be worked out on the same screen. Sage will take care of holiday pay, Statutory Sick Pay (SSP),   Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), Statutory Adoption Pay (SAP), Statutory Paternity Pay (SPP), Student Loans,    Attachments of Earnings Orders (AEO) and Pensions, all you have to do is key in the figures and let Sage work all the calculations out for you.

Payslips can be printed on plain A4 paper and you can customize them with your own colours, messages and logos, you can also send them electronically via email with password protection. Your employees can be paid by BACS, cheque, cash or    E-Banking.

Sage 50 Payroll contains a choice of over 250 reports for analysis purposes; you can group them into separate categories   and even create your own reports, produce P45, P11 and P32 documents with ease. All reports can be emailed in PDF or HTML and even produces historical reports going back seven years.

Sage 50 Payroll allows you to import and export data from Microsoft Office files, import employee data from CSV files, export data to Excel for reporting purposes or run mail merges for employee letters.

Useful wizards and guides will help you complete your payroll end of year, produce your P11s, P14s and P60s and send   your end of year returns to the HMRC electronically.
